Tallulah Gorge State Park is a beautiful destination with an incredible waterfall and breathtaking scenery throughout the park. Unfortunately, I was not able to experience the sliding rock because tickets were not available on the day of my visit. However, there was still so much to see and enjoy. The highlight of the park includes the famous suspension (swing) bridge and the over 600 steps that take you down into the gorge. It’s definitely a workout, but the views along the way make it completely worth it. There are so many scenic overlooks and photo opportunities throughout the park, making it a perfect place for anyone who loves nature and photography. Overall, it’s a stunning state park and absolutely worth visiting.

Tallulah Gorge State Park is a beautiful place to visit with breathtaking views and some of the most impressive scenery in Georgia. The overlooks provide amazing photo opportunities, and the hiking trails offer a great way to experience the gorge and surrounding nature. The suspension bridge is a highlight and adds to the adventure. The park is well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that some areas can get crowded, especially on weekends, and access to certain trails is limited by permit requirements. Even so, it’s absolutely worth a visit for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, hiking, and stunning natural landscapes. A great destination for a day trip and one of Georgia’s must-see natural attractions.

Absolutely worth the sore knees, hips, and sweat. We opted to do the North Rim Trail. The Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center houses a gift shop, restrooms, and information desk (*obtain permits and trail maps here and/or Q&A*). Additional restrooms located outside along with vending machines, bike rack area, and picnic tables. $10 per vehicle parking for the entire day. The trail started off relatively easy, level, and soft via the tire rubber mulch. The overlooks were beautiful and provided a birdseye view of L'Eau d'Or Falls and Tempesta Falls. Following these 2 overlooks it is all downhill from there. Metal steps with wooden railings with spaced out bench style seating areas. Some sections were longer than others. The suspension bridge was beautiful and provided a great view of water below that feed Hurricane Falls. Once at the bottom there is a large wooden deck overlooking Hurricane Falls and the Gorge floor to the right. Can't beat 3 waterfalls on 1 trail. Rule of thumb: Wear good tread shoes, take your time, beware as some of the metal steps are loose, and watch for foilage overhanging on the handrails as some of it is poisonous. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful place to visit. The gorge floor is a hard hike. Bring proper shoes. Don't go if rain is in the forecast. Watch for snakes. Pay close attention to the information class. It's important in case you lose the map. The trail out is at the top of bridal veil on the right. The hike is all left until that point. The way out is strenuous and straight up. The Rangers are awesome, they will help if you need them. They showed me the way out when I couldn't find it.

The campgrounds had water and power clean public restrooms and showers, the hike to the waterfalls and sliding rocks wasn't to bad just be prepared to get wet from having to cross certain areas and to us the most challenging part was crossing bridal falls and the challenging hike to go up the rocks on the the mountain to get back on the trail to get to the interpretative cent where our vehicle was parked. But through it all we would definitely do it all again. It was a great place with beautiful views and extremely cold water.. we had a blast!!
