This place is awesome. It’s only 15 minutes from Sam and Stefs place. You only pay $10 a day to park. Kids and pets are welcomed but pets need to be on a leash. Please bring plenty of water and good walking/ hiking shoes. Great waterfalls. The climb down is easy but coming up is harder but worth it. There are approximately 1062 stairs. I really enjoyed it. Can get a permit to get in the water as well.

Jan 9, 2026 · Google ReviewIf you want to hike the South Rim Trail, you can start at the Day Use Area by the dam instead of the interpretive center. There are walkways underneath the highway at either end of the bridge.
Dec 12, 2025 · Google ReviewOne of the most scenic natural places in Georgia. Whether staying up high on the easy to access rim trail, or walking the 300+ steps down to the suspension bridge (or the 900+ steps to canyon floor), Tallulah Gorge is a must see for visitors in Northeast Georgia.
