This place is definitely a Hidden Gem. The scenery surrounding the cabin was absolutely breathtaking! We couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous river that led to the waterfall. We took the kids down to the river—and yes, we got in! It was so much fun. There was a cozy setup by the water with a bench swing, chairs, and a small fire pit—perfect for relaxing by the river.The cabin itself was super cute, very clean, and incredibly cozy. It had everything we needed. The décor was adorable, the beds were extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets and fresh towels ready for us. The staff was definitely five-star—knowledgeable about local spots to visit, quick to answer any questions, and genuinely kind. Whether we were sitting on the porch taking in the view or drifting off to sleep to the sound of the river, the experience was pure tranquility.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful retreat in nature.

This is a long one because it’s overdue! Cascades Waterfall Retreat will always hold a very special place in my heart. We stayed here during what would be my mom’s last Christmas in 2024, and it became a backdrop to memories I will cherish forever. Being here truly feels like being immersed in nature the sound of the river (my moms favorite part), the trees, the trails and the sense of peace made it easy to slow down and be present. During that visit, we explored Helen and spent time exploring backroads in the mountains, then came back each day to a space that felt warm, calm, and like home. One of the things we loved most was how accommodating the space was for our family. Multiple family members were able to stay in connecting and neighboring cabin rooms, which allowed us to be together while still having privacy. Having a full kitchen and separate rooms made it feel less like a rental and more like a true home away from home. Every detail felt thoughtful, right down to how each room has its own unique theme—it added so much charm and character to the stay. Summer of 2025, after a long road trip to Nashville, we felt drawn to come back again. Ending our trip here felt right. It was the perfect, peaceful closing chapter and, in many ways, a gentle goodbye to my mom, who passed just a few weeks later. Cascades Waterfall Retreat will forever be tied to love, family, and some of the most meaningful days of my life. I’m deeply grateful for the comfort and peace this place gave us and we can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful 2 nights at this tucked away cozy inn. We had room 4, the rocking chairs outside our room overlooked the creek , sooo relaxing! The room was so cozy and the gas fireplace was wonderful! Our room was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was modern. Shawn the owner was very friendly and welcoming. It’s only a few minutes to Tallulah Falls and we highly recommend that as well! We would love to come back and stay longer!

We absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay here at the Cascades Inn. The rooms are mostly updated with beautiful mountain rustic decor, they are still in the process of getting the rooms updated with the new decor so please be patient and kind, the room was very clean an cozy, We stayed in room 3 and didn't want to have to leave today... beautiful decks overlooking the river, which is"beautifully lit with lights in the evening". There are a few different ways to get down by the water and get in, I personally loved getting my feet in the water very therapeutic and relaxing...we enjoyed the beautiful fire pit outside our room, they had complimentary hot coco and s'mores in the evening. The selection of Grills to use was very nice. They are very nice and personable, if you need anything just ask trust me they may have it on hand, it's just a matter of you asking. They want nothing more than to make sure you stay stress free, after all thats why you book to stay here is to relax and decompress from the everyday chaos of life...so if you forgot something just ask...We both feel like we made new lifelong friends with them... We will be back in July for our anniversary, because we loved and enjoyed this place, the people, and the location being in the middle around so many attractions an restaurants.

Place is in a area in its self.. we found this place and its awesome, celebrating our 10th anniversary,,,there is creek with its waterfall is a awesome sight.. place is lite up at night,giving out a blue romantic lighting. This morning before we left took the stairs down the mountain to see the waterfall... awesome.. the rooms has everything needed... we surely will be back... we are heading back to Florida
