We just returned from an unforgettable family getaway at Splendor Mountain, and I can't say enough good things about it. As a mom of two, I’m always looking for places where the kids can unplug and actually play — and this place exceeded every expectation. We stayed at the Ruby Lodge, which was cozy, charming, and perfectly set up for our crew. My kids met up with six of their cousins, and from the moment we arrived, it was pure joy. The highlight? The tower jump into the lake! They must have jumped a hundred times and then paddled around in the canoe all together and went fishing. The kids played wiffle ball on the lawn, explored walking trails in the woods, and had late-night cousin sleepovers full of giggles. We spent our days surrounded by the kind of natural beauty that reminds you to slow down and just be with your people. Splendor Mountain is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed — the perfect blend of rustic charm and creature comforts. I couldn’t recommend it more for families looking to reconnect and create core memories. We’re already talking about when we can come back!

Such a tranquil place ! The property trees, creek, lake and views make it a such a great place to enjoy walking and exploring. The cabins are charming. Chevin is such a warm and welcoming host and helpful with anything you’re interested in doing in the area, that is if you can tear yourself away from Splendor Mountain!

Fantastic! Loved how close it was to all the fab restaurants, shopping, Tallulah Gorge, hiking and best of all, the peacefulness of this beautiful property!! We cooked fresh veggies from local farmers markets, enjoyed early morning walks with the birds, wine on the porch, and a fun evening of roasting s’mores by the fire with stunning sunset view!! Plenty of room for all ! Felt like grown up camp!!! And the kids had a ball too!! Splendor Mountain is magical in every way!! So much to explore!! Wish I had been married at this fabulous property!! So much to offer. A fun and delightful family vacay!

Beautiful property with stunning views!! Lots of trails to walk and a fab lake for cooling off! A treat!! Adorable cabins with room for our whole team! Great to gather and brainstorm in the gorgeous and cool north Georgia Mountains! Close enough to Atlanta for a quick trip but want to come back and stay longer! Clayton has so many fun restaurants and great shopping. Fun to explores! Loved the fresh veggies from Jaemore and Osage! We cooked up great meals, too! Coffee on the porch was lovely! The hosts are a delight too! We are coming back! A treasure!!

The Pavilion was perfect for gathering and enjoying the peaceful surroundings; it feels like your own private slice of the mountains. Chevin, the owner, is an absolute delight. So kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. You can tell she pours her heart into every detail, and it makes each experience that much more special.
