Was a couple hours drive to get here to get our 3 packages of honeybees. We also shopped the bee supplies too. The staff was polite and helpful. Nice products. No complaints. Well wish we could have could have thanked them for the Youtube videos. Bob, Salina and John. Thanks. The video's are very helpful. Packages are doing great!
Apr 15, 2026 · Google ReviewThe staff is amazing and all of the varieties of honey are super delicious!! The gift center is awesome and they even have a children's book about Blue Ridge Honey Company that features the owner and bee expert, Bob Binnie, and showcases the indoor bee hive!! Love this place!! ❤️
Apr 28, 2026 · Google ReviewThere is more to honey than you could possibly know, unless you have visited Blue Ridge Honey Company before. The taste of honey depends on the type of flower that the bee is getting their nectar from, and here you can sample various honeys. Our favorite is Sourwood Honey. They sell honey in small jars right up to five gallon buckets of honey. This is a serious operation. If you want to get into bee keeping this store offers classes and supplies to help you get started. Call and ask for their class schedule. Be sure to let your kids see bees in action at one of the hives that they have with glass covers. Pretty cool. There is plenty of parking.
Oct 27, 2025 · Google ReviewAuthentic honey, many varieties, at very reasonable prices. They have other things too, like jams, salsas, beeswax candles, and more. The candle smells amazing when burning; it smells like honey is in the air.
Nov 9, 2025 · Google ReviewI just wanted to reach out and say thank you! I have a 9 year old American Bulldog named Kimber. Kimber has a white coat and pink skin (the curse). I adopted her in March of 2017. In April of 2017 she got a bad case of skin allergies. Her skin allergies are not visible. She just scratches like crazy and licks her paws a lot. I ended up having to get her an allergy shot (Citopoint). She broke out again in August, and got another allergy shot. I’ve been forking out $200+ dollars twice a year for 9 years now. In March of this year I got some Blue Ridge Wildflower Honey, and began adding a teaspoon to her Chicken and Brown Rice in the mornings. It is May 1st now and she has not had her April allergy shot. No scratching, no paw licking, and no discomfort whatsoever. I can’t thank you enough for your product. From now on I will continue to keep your honey in my pantry. We are 100% satisfied with Blue Ridge Honey.
