There is more to honey than you could possibly know, unless you have visited Blue Ridge Honey Company before. The taste of honey depends on the type of flower that the bee is getting their nectar from, and here you can sample various honeys. Our favorite is Sourwood Honey. They sell honey in small jars right up to five gallon buckets of honey. This is a serious operation. If you want to get into bee keeping this store offers classes and supplies to help you get started. Call and ask for their class schedule. Be sure to let your kids see bees in action at one of the hives that they have with glass covers. Pretty cool. There is plenty of parking.

Authentic honey, many varieties, at very reasonable prices. They have other things too, like jams, salsas, beeswax candles, and more. The candle smells amazing when burning; it smells like honey is in the air.
