We stayed here for 5 days in February and truly enjoyed our visit!!! We got the two bedroom lockout and the place was super clean and we were able to buy wood right on site!! For some reason the wood for the fireplace didn't stay burning too long but that didn't change how we felt about the place overall. The rec center has plenty of things to do in the area is beautiful. We happened to come when the ski resort closes during the week so if you're coming to ski make sure you plan ahead and look at the schedule and see when it's open... so we went to Maggie Valley to ski. We saw many reviews that complained about the furniture not being updated but that wasn't an issue for us because everything is so clean!! We were very happy with the accommodations and check in with smooth and easy and staff was really friendly! There is an Ingles right down the street which is very convenient!!

I didn't like the line waiting experience. We got there about 10 mins early and waited about an hour to pay and get skis. Everyone was nice and friendly. I think that they just need more help to assist with checking out(instead of just one person). Everything else was great from a first time experience skier.
