We stayed here for 5 days in February and truly enjoyed our visit!!! We got the two bedroom lockout and the place was super clean and we were able to buy wood right on site!! For some reason the wood for the fireplace didn't stay burning too long but that didn't change how we felt about the place overall. The rec center has plenty of things to do in the area is beautiful. We happened to come when the ski resort closes during the week so if you're coming to ski make sure you plan ahead and look at the schedule and see when it's open... so we went to Maggie Valley to ski. We saw many reviews that complained about the furniture not being updated but that wasn't an issue for us because everything is so clean!! We were very happy with the accommodations and check in with smooth and easy and staff was really friendly! There is an Ingles right down the street which is very convenient!!

I didn't like the line waiting experience. We got there about 10 mins early and waited about an hour to pay and get skis. Everyone was nice and friendly. I think that they just need more help to assist with checking out(instead of just one person). Everything else was great from a first time experience skier.

Ski Sapphire Valley offers an ideal setting for families and beginners, with its quick lines for both lift tickets and rentals ensuring a hassle-free start. The lift lines are efficiently managed, allowing for more time on the slopes. With one green run and a bunny slope, it’s perfect for teaching kids or introducing new skiers to the sport. These gentle slopes provide a safe learning environment, making it a great place for those just starting out or those looking to warm up for the season. Overall, Ski Sapphire Valley is a fantastic choice for a relaxed and convenient skiing experience, particularly suited for beginners and families.

Awesome little ski hill. Great place for my kids to learn. Went on a warm Saturday and wasn’t crowded. Reasonable pricing.

The resort offers ski experience and lessons for beginners as well as more advanced skiers. It's not a big slope, but it's a nice run. Tubbing was kids friendly. It had four lanes and a moving sidewalk. Loads of fun!
