40+ year old resort with moldy smelling condos, ageing interior fixtures and furniture, stained living room sets from many years of use and abuse. Great location for beautiful vistas, lakes, and streams, and shopping. Good indoor and outdoor pools. Some amenities such as putt-putt, hot tubs, rope climbing, and a decent gym. Access to many over-priced high-end restaurants.
Jun 14, 2026 · Google ReviewRented a 1 bedroom lockout which turns it into two bedrooms, which takes its two separate one bedroom units into two full units. The descriptions and photos were hard to follow. The lockout gave us two bedrooms, two kitchens, two living rooms with two pull out couches. Downstairs unit smaller kitchen appliances, jacuzzi tub and separate walking shower, king size bed, living room pullout couch upstairs loft type space. The upstairs unit everything was upstairs also a king size bed, normal size kitchen appliances, bathroom had a regular tub and shower. The recreation center closed early without notice on New Years Eve sometime before 7:30pm. Getting a hold of anyone is not easy for check-in and check-out, skiing any of it. To get skiing or snowboarding tubing passes you have to get to the office at 8am day of and they sell out fast. It’s an extremely small resort not sure I would call the slopes a resort great for small kids not sure about adults that are experienced skiers it’s one slope. Beautiful area super comfortable beds great hiking but shouldn’t be on your list for places to ski. Hopefully you aren’t a timeshare owner because they don’t allow pets and it’s nearly impossible to even find availability to reserve a timeshare but here. This place is ok and wasn’t a lot of points however this is the only place our timeshare points could get us into as a two day weekend in Atlanta Margaritaville is all my points for a whole year.

May 12, 2026 · Google ReviewWe really enjoyed staying here. So beautiful and peaceful. Everyone was so nice! We did the gem mining at the rec center which was fun and different. Also, the restaurant on property- the food was very good and the people there were also very friendly. We would definitely go back!
May 4, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is such a relaxing place to stay. I enjoyed it very much.
Apr 29, 2026 · Google ReviewThe only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 3 is because of the ammenities and mountain location near so many waterfalls. The 1980s built condos are badly in need of a renovation. The rooms though are clean and the staff is great!|They advertise kayak rentals but just know they are $25 an hour and not on the property. They are at Fairfield Lake about 5 min away. They also rent john boats with a trolling motor for $30 an hour. |All the video games, pool table, air hockey etc are $1 each. (Not expensive but they were free in the Williamsburg resort)
Apr 13, 2026 · Google ReviewThe resort is beautiful! Great location. Friendly and competent staff. Will be going back.
Apr 1, 2026 · Google ReviewNice quiet place to stay. The Wyndham employees do not pressure you to schedule a meeting with them at this location & there are lots of recreational activities.
