Decided to get fiber through them and they cut our existing line. They didnt map out existing underground lines like they said they would a few days prior when they came by to look at the job and what it would require. I came back to the house today to find myself without internet, and being told that it would be weeks before they could send a technician to finish setting up the fiber thats on the side of our house to inside the house. I explained to them I was working from home for the summer and needed internet immediately, we dont even get phone signal inside the house on this part of the lake. Their technicians were negligent and this is the response they give to a new customer. Do not get fiber with them, if this is how they start service I can only imagine how bad it will be once its installed.

I just want to brag on Habersham EMC I came home from work and the wifi was out, I called and spoke to a sweet representative who helped me troubleshoot around 6pm. Ended up that we needed a technician to come out and fix it, she told me that she couldn’t guarantee they would be out tonight but lo and behold the tech was here by 7! We sincerely appreciate this hard work and great customer service because without our wifi we’re completely analogue in this tin camper… I would be okay cause I got my books, but my poor sweet husband would be going stir crazy without tv 😂 Habersham EMC has always done us so good!
