Clay Contracting

Clay Contracting was founded in 2001 by Chris Clay of Lakemont, Georgia. Chris is a 1995 graduate of Rabun County High School and a 1999 graduate of Auburn University. He spent two years after school building for himself and family on Lake Rabun before realizing what great passion he had for home building.

In 2001, Chris opened Clay Contracting, a company which has experienced steady growth since its outset. Chris limits the number of simultaneous projects to ensure that each client receives a great deal of personal attention from him and his team. Clay Contracting has now established itself as one of the premiere custom home builders in Rabun County, primarily on Lake Rabun and Lake Burton.
