I had a lovely stay here at Sylvan Falls. Linda was easy to communicate with and accommodated our dietary restrictions. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast (they also have an extensive bakery but you have to pre order!) everything was decorated very intentionally and we enjoyed looking at the details. The location is pretty good as well with lots of hiking and nature nearby. Overall, this is a quaint and lovely B&B with amazing baked goods and great hospitality!
Oct 13, 2025 · Google ReviewWhat a lovely spot! Linda and Mike are gracious, helpful, kind hosts. They have made a little sanctuary in Georgia. The three-course breakfast, right next to the waterfall, was "from scratch" taken up a level! The almond strudel topped bread (cake) was incredible. The autumn fruit cup was Fall in a glass and the main dish was delicious. Homemade juices and ciders? C'mon! The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious AND cozy at the same time and they don't skimp on the linens. If I could build my dream house, it would have a babbling brook running straight through the center so I could hear it all day and night. Sylvan Falls Mill is the closest I've ever been to that dream. I stopped for one night passing through, but this place made me regret ever leaving.
Oct 11, 2025 · Google ReviewOur stay at Sylvan Falls Inn was truly enjoyable. Linda and Mike were gracious and attentive hosts who went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. The property offers a spectacular setting, highlighted by a waterfall on site that provides a serene and picturesque backdrop. While the accommodations are not extravagant, they are exceptionally clean, charming, and comfortable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing getaway. We highly recommend Sylvan Falls Inn to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in a beautiful location.
Sep 21, 2025 · Google ReviewMy friend and I took a spontaneous trip to NE Georgia and booked a room here last minute. We were greeted by the owners Linda & Mike with a cup of hot tea and tour of the inn. They were so welcoming and shared the history of the working mill and surrounding area. Just lovely people. Breakfast was great. Fresh coffee, peaches and homemade waffles. The Inn and garden are pure zen. It’s a quintessential B&B experience, off the beaten path in beautiful Appalachian countryside.
Aug 11, 2025 · Google ReviewMy husband and I decided to do a last minute trip to the area for our anniversary this year. We called around 6 pm to see if they had a room available. They did, so we started the drive. We didnt end up getting there till about midnight. We called back to keep them informed , of course. We felt so bad arriving so late. But when we arrived, Linda greeted us with a smile in the driveway, offered to help us in any way, offered refreshments, showed us around, and then our room. She was so sweet and pleasant. We fell asleep to the sound of the waterfall flowing and woke up to the beautiful view of it. They made us the most delicious breakfast, (gluten free, as I told her upon arrival, when she asked if we had any food allergies or anything). We enjoyed our food by the waterfall and on beautiful China. We had great conversation with Linda afterwards as she showed us around some more and told us all about the milling process of the corn that was used for our fresh baked blueberry cornbread muffins. (As I requested.) I was so sad to have to leave this beautiful place. We will definitely be coming back with the kids.
