River Falls at the Gorge
River Falls at the Gorge campground offers various camping options, including RV sites, cabins, and even treehouses. The campground is situated along the Tallulah River, providing a scenic setting for campers. River Falls at the Gorge is known for its amenities, which include clean facilities, a clubhouse, arcade, pool, playground, basketball court, and opportunities for tubing and fishing in the river. It is conveniently located just 1.5 miles from Tallulah Gorge State Park, where visitors can explore the gorge, hike the rim trails, or obtain a permit to venture down to the gorge floor and see the numerous waterfalls, including Hurricane Falls, Oceana Falls, Tempesta Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls (also known as Sliding Rock). A suspension bridge at the park sways 80 feet above the gorge floor, offering breathtaking views.
In addition to exploring the gorge, visitors can also enjoy other nearby attractions such as Black Rock Mountain State Park, Anna Ruby Falls at Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls at Unicoi State Park, and the Bavarian-themed town of Helen, GA.

Tabitha JohnsWe have been coming here for over 9 years and it’s our favorite campground! There is always something to do. My daughter begs for us to just live at the campground. The staff is amazing and have worked so hard to make this a fun filled place. I love that the kids are outside playing in nature, on the playground and meeting friends. My daughter played in the river all weekend and didn’t even want to go up the pool (which is usually her favorite). We can’t wait to come back.

Goretta BommerscheimReally great campground on the river. We camped in tents and really loved the air conditioned bath houses. Family and pet friendly. The area was clean and relatively quiet, which was important since we were in tents. Loved tubing down the river. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. Felt very safe there. I definitely would recommend it.

Dean sGreat location, the riverside campsites were nice and the kids loved the water and tubing. Very well maintained location with lots of fun “nature scenes” to discover on your walks. The one thing I’d say is the camping spots are on top of each other so hope for nice camping friends nearby!

The maintenance staff was professional and very helpful with assisting me parking my 5th wheel into my camp site. The campground is beautiful, inviting, and the river is enchanting can't wait to return. T.White

Sarah CassanovaHands down best views for a campground we have seen. The pictures do not do it justice. Surrounded by misty mountains and a beautiful river with rushing water. The plants were all so beautiful and smelled amazing. We were a little disappointed with the condition of the RV we rented particularly for the cost. However, the Manager was very kind and worked with us to make it right. Overall, if you’re bringing your own camper this campground is a no brainer.
