Website Directions

Georgia Power releases additional water over Tallulah Dam, increasing the flow through Tallulah Gorge for scenic viewing. Visitors can watch from the North and South Rim Trails or take the gorge steps for closer views. Gorge-floor permits are not issued during the releases. Flow is approximately 200 cubic feet per second.
