Absolutely loved our time camping at Rabun Campground! The hosts were awesome and quite flexible in working with us! The Campsite was fantastic, clean, offering plenty of space, mix of sun and shade and privacy. We enjoyed using the fire pit to make s’mores : ). The Bathrooms were clean and fully stocked. Will certainly come back again!
Jul 9, 2026 · Google ReviewWe loved this camp location. We stayed in early June at a tent site. Camp hosts were great. The campground is wooded/shaded so even with 80s weather it felt more cool at the sites. The roads are narrow. The park is a one way road so if you are camping with numerous people it makes it harder to visit friends because you have to go around the whole park(one way). Bear watch: need to be more careful as this is a park mentioned that bears can access. (We didn't see any while we were there). We stayed in loop 2 and it is quite a distance from the actual beach access. The campgrounds do provide you a parking pass to use at the beach access as well. Bathrooms are quite a far distance from a lot of tent sites. Bring a bike or scooter. There was hot water in showers. Bathrooms are well maintained and clean. Firewood is $7 a bundle. They have great bonfire pits with a grill on it. A lot of the tent sites have the Creek near them. You hear the Creek all day which is so nice. You don't have cell service with many carriers. The angel falls hike is a fun thing to do while you are there. Overall, we will definitely be back. This park is great for a true camping experience.
Jun 8, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is a pretty nice campground. Staff was helpful and friendly. Showerhouse was always clean and in good condition. Excellent hiking trail to falls and to the lake. But I will never return due to the road going to the campground. VERY curvy and narrow for miles !! Only 3 stars due to the road.
Apr 24, 2026 · Google ReviewI usually primitive camp and prefer disbursed camping for free but this place exceeded my expectations. Hot water, spacious sites not packed together, good newer picnic tables, working fire pits, fairly clean restroom facilities, reaponsible and pleasant campground host. Our site as well as all the others I looked at were better than the pictures on the website for booking. It is much cheaper than Tallulah Gorge State Park campground and less crowded.
Oct 28, 2025 · Google ReviewMy family loves camping here! We tend to go about two times a year. The campsites are about $25 for one night. It does the body good to get out of the city and sleep in the fresh air. Recommend!
Oct 19, 2025 · Google ReviewWe liked it very much but I'm surprised people say there is hot water! The showers in both men's and women's work by pressing a button, and no way to adjust temperature. The spray is like a fine mist 🌫️. Someone actually drilled holes in the men's shower head to get a stronger spray! Otherwise we were pleased with nice hikes on site and location close to other hiking. Unfortunately our campsite #48 was a stone's throw to Lake Rabun road and there was loud traffic day and night, despite the remoteness of the area. There was no cell service or Internet.
Oct 18, 2025 · Google ReviewThis is a fantastic place to tent or RV campgrounds, with nice bathroom/shower facilities, large spaces, and great trails. Fantastic access to Lake Rabun and Lake Burton, great restaurants in nearby towns, and plenty of gorgeous mountain views. My family has been visiting every season 3-7 times for nearly 20 years.
Sep 30, 2025 · Google ReviewGreat experience, friendly staff. Clean bathrooms and plenty of private campsites surrounded by trees. Unfortunately it rained the entire time.
