Exceptional. Both dogs have been groomed there. One is a challenge due to dementia and resists a lot. Mike did a fabulous job and all the staff there were welcoming to both of my fur babies. The service and friendliness of staff ensures that we will be going back. (Not to mention the convenience). And while you’re waiting you can shop local! Downtown Clayton has a lot to offer!

Heather is the best and most caring groomer (and person!) we have ever been to! The space they have created is beautiful & open & comforting for people and animals alike... right down to the velveteen loveseat where your freshly groomed pet can get their glamour shot taken. Heather is an absolutely wonderful person and her care, attention to detail, compassion & skills are second to none!

Our Charlee had her 2nd grooming again with Heather who did such a wonderful job of trimming her “back into” a mini Bernedoodle cut. Each of the 4 staff members with whom we interacted today were friendly, helpful, and prompt with requests we had. It’s always a pleasure taking our pup to Claws and Paws because we know our girl will be well cared for and will come home happy and looking her best.

Fabulous crew! My girl Kudzu is shedding everywhere and we went in for a bath, twice. Great private spot with a door so she isn't seeing store activities. Towels, aprons, heater/blower and shampoo provided all for $10! So happy the groomers elsewhere didn't want to touch my giant girl. This shop saved me $$$.

Excellent selection of products for cats and dogs including some of our favorite brands as well as new products to try. We picked up some treats, a collar and a neat quick dry kerchief. Nice selection of bags and even strollers. Very thoughtful curation. We were disappointed, however, with the staff member present: she didn’t seem to be knowledgeable about the inventory, nor did she ask about what size/breed of dogs we were shopping for, she just sat at the desk and didn’t interact with us. We would have bought more if she’d been more engaging, but overall, it is a very nice shop and we’ll return next time we’re in the area.
