This hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff, the property, the restaurant and coffee bar were all exceptional. The building itself is beautiful -- exposed columns, concrete floors, large lobby with extremely comfortable seating areas and a fireplace. Plus, it's perfectly positioned in downtown Clayton, an easy walk to scores of shopping and dining options.

I loved everything about this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The luxury feel you get for the low nightly rate was almost too good to be true. Downtown Clayton is so cute and you can walk everywhere from the Bridgecreek Inn.

First off, The hotel is very nice and clean, The front desk goes above and beyond with any request you need and they are very nice. The only issue we had is the occupancy sensor for the HVAC turns off the fan and system at night so you wake up Hot, you have to go to the thermostat and wave in front of it to make it kick back on for what seems like an hour and then wake back up again when you’re hot again, This is becoming common in a lot of hotels I stay at. I guess it’s to save energy however I’m used to sleeping with good AC and airflow at night, my night sleep was pretty awful. If they could let the HVAC run like a normal home or hotel, then I would get five stars. Be aware if you get hot at night.

We drove up to Clayton on a whim and after lunch popped into the Bridge Creek Inn, to see what it looked it. How refreshing! We normally stay at another hotel when in town, but asked the manager on duty (Tyler) if he minded showing us a room so we could get a feel for it, and he went out of his way to show us THREE different rooms! Afterwards we had a cup of coffee and sat in the lounge. Tyler couldn’t have been more accommodating. We will certainly be staying here next time we are in town!
