Driving through Clayton, NC and got hungry, so we decided to stop at Friends Clayton Grill for lunch such a great choice! As a wings lover, I noticed they'd won an award for Best Wings in Clayton and knew right away we were in the right place. Of course, I couldn't resist trying multiple flavors to see what all the hype was about, and each one did not disappoint. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Pictures really do speak for themselves here — if you're ever passing through Clayton and craving some seriously good wings, this is the spot to stop."

This is an awesome spot! There's a heated rooftop deck! The decor is fun and friendly, probably why theyre called friends! The food is delicious and the service was very enjoyable. The atmosphere was pleasant but a little crowded, which props to them, I just felt a little too close to my neighbors behind me! 😅 I really like this place and I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend you check them out!

If you're up for the stairs, sit on the rooftop, great atmosphere. Breezy with great views. Have very affordable food that tastes great. Lots of specials like the Tuesday BOGO burgers. We got 2 drinks and 2 huge burgers out the door for just under $30. Bonus points because they had tater tots for no extra cost, a favorite of mine.

We had no food, just beers on the roof top deck. It was extremely pleasant. The views look down Main St. It was a nice day. The service was really good. The bar tender filled our beers to the tippy top. I hate the 3/4 pour.
