Charleigh TidwellThis is absolutely one of my favorite Ice cream places. They make their own ice cream with no dyes or added ingredients. It’s also got a really good rich flavor. They have indoor and outdoor seating, for your convenience, and also they offer half scoops, so you can get two flavors for the price of one full scoop. I have been here 5-7 times with my family and we will be going for a long time. Would recommend to anyone. The only thing it that it’s a little pricey. It’s roughly $10 per person. But otherwise, it’s absolutely amazing!!

SMSMy husband and I took a day trip from North Carolina to Clayton specifically to try Bean and Basil and we were not disappointed. The owners, Richard and Jane, could not have been friendlier or more accommodating, allowing us to sample many of their unique and delicious flavors. They make almost every ingredient from scratch and I loved the homemade caramel in one of the flavors I chose. There is something for everyone and the homemade waffle cones are a must try.

Gary EarlyThe ice cream here is hands down the best I’ve had! My favorite is the salted caramel vanilla. Outstanding! Other flavors are really good. It’s not the least expensive you’re going to get, but I’m a proponent of the saying that you get what you pay for, and you pay for what you get. Is it worth it? You’re darn skippy it is.
