What an amazing place! I stopped by at the end of my first week or so on the AT in 2023 and received a warm and helpful welcome. Their set up for shower + loaner clothes + self-service laundry is really easy and convenient. Really enjoyed chatting with the staff. Have been meaning to write this review for a while now and was reminded about their great service while chatting with another hiker during a recent section hike farther north.

Was not looking for outdoor wear this day, but I saw craft beer available and I was in. Great store for outdoor gear and craft beer on tap while you browse. Great concept! Great narrow selection of seasonal gear, staff very knowledgeable and helpful giving direction on gear to match your needs. I chose a craft beer, nice selection at very reasonable price.

Amazing customer service. I failed to get the employee's name, he had a great beard, and was extremely helpful. I came in with shoes that were strangely no longer working for my feet. He helped get me in better shoes for my thru hike. He even called the other store in Franklin to get another perspective on my fit issues. He really went above and beyond. He really took the time to get it right. I did some day hiking in the new pair today, and his help is what fixed my shoe issues. Great advice and friendly. I am extremely grateful for the help. Thank you!
