Second time doing the half day fishing expedition with Shady Creek and it has been absolutely amazing both times. First time last year for my birthday and I had never fly fished before, Zach was super helpful in teaching me the ropes and since I’ve bought my own fly set up. Went again this year for my birthday, Zach is a super experienced guide and he will get you on some fish no doubt, we caught 12 total today!! If you’re in the area and want to try your hand on a fly rod I can’t recommend Shady Creek enough. I will be back for sure, maybe it will even be a yearly birthday tradition!

My friend and I scheduled a 1/2 day guided trip in October and Zac Chapman really put us both on an absolute ton of trout. Zac certainly knows his business and we both had an absolute blast. The trout were stacked, hungry and just loved the mopsicle flies Zac tied on for us. I lost count on the number of trout put into the net! It was well over twenty. I got tired of catching them 😬 🤣🤣🤣!!! I also need to mention the guys in the fly shop. I had a reel that need more backing and of course I needed some of those mopsicles for my fly collection. Super shop with a knowledgeable friendly staff that love to talk fly fishing. Can’t wait to schedule my next trip with you guys!
