Lauren BridgesSo I saw a review posted a week or so ago, so I'll admit I was a bit skeptical initially. My mom recommended this place to me and I'm so glad she did. After living on the coast for several years it was nice to have a change of pace. The vibes are great here. If you are looking to relax, this is the place. If you show up expecting cocktails in the parlor, mimosas overlooking the veranda, satin sheets and wall to wall carpet with gold and crystals everywhere.... Bless your sweet heart.... You clearly didn't do your research before booking. However if you are a realist who wants welcoming, clean, relaxing.... This is the place. Also the owner is very nice and any concerns we had were addressed in a timely manner. Really enjoyed it and hope to come back soon! (Just want to add, not sure why a few people complain about signal but I've never had an issue with cell service here. I know lots of others that get a signal just fine. If your phone carrier sucks, that sounds like a "you" problem.)

De LeeWe just love this place. Have seen many changes in our 20 yrs of staying here. Our original favorite was Black Bear. However; it was renovated to include a piano room. Too large for just the 2 of us. The former game room was renovated to Whispering Waters, we found a new love. It’s large wrap deck with deep cushion loungers, the constant sound of a running creek, so peaceful and relaxing. Life changing for the stressed! It’s always neat and clean. Well appointed and decor is just cool. Glamping at the Waldorf, compared to others, roughing it with splinters!! And if a game runs over, the gates are open. Not like others locked at 10. We recently stayed in LaCasa a studio w plenty of room king bed full kitchen. You can reserve as much or as little to bare bones tents. Friendly. I can’t say enough. Store at end of rd. W grill for breakfast. Perfect location. In past reserved entire grounds for group mtgs, club parties. Stage for band. Stay here you can thank me later❤️
