My guides were not only experts in the area but also exceptional teachers. They had an uncanny ability to read the water and knew exactly where the fish would be holding. Never held a fly rod but always wanted to fly fish. Karl showed me some pointers and let me cast a few times to see if this is something I wanted to do. And yes I’m making a purchase for my first fly rod. Super nice guy and I have only been there twice. All of my purchases will only be from them.

My mother bought me some flies from this shop for Christmas. They treated her so well that I went there and bought some felt boots. These boots changed my life. I can traverse upstream over any rocks to cast into any hole or eddy. I cover more water and catch more fish. The team at The Chattooga River Fly Shop are actually there to help you.
