Close to Main street Clayton, and easy access to area sights and things to do. Our room was clean and had a nice cabin vibe feeling to it. Warmly greeted by the owner, and welcomed with a warm goodbye when we left.

The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The host, Frank, was very conscious and helpful. He has added a tee pee, glamping, and, other commodities. I would definitely recommend visiting Mountain Aire Cottages. My husband and I will definitely be returning!

This was our third time staying at Mountain Aire Cottages and are always impressed with how friendly the host is and how clean the rooms are. The Inn is located in good proximity to downtown Clayton which makes it a great location.

Lots of love put in this place. Rooms are decorated so beautifully and every detail is lovely. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs outside the room. The property is so well maintained and the owner is very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this place over a cookie cutter hotel room.

We booked this as a four day weekend trip with four other couples so they were 10 of us and we pretty much had the whole “compound” to ourselves. There are four rooms in each with its unique comfy, feel, and design, each also has a mini fridge microwave coffee pot, kitchenette essentials. There are three cottages as well that are pretty much just like a house. We had the rooms and the glamping.|It’s a very nice piece of property. Frank has been doing an extensive work on it throughout the years that he has owned it. He has thought of every little detail along the way. He is an excellent host. He remembered all of our names and if you’re looking to come here as a big group or a family reunion, this is a perfect spot. Everything you would need is here. There are grills on the property as well. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area for an extended time.|Only thing I would suggest Frank, would be maybe a nice hot tub somewhere on the property hint hint.

This was our second stay, but it won’t be our last. It’s a wonderful, peaceful location that is walkable to downtown attractions. Our room was super clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was well-stocked including a coffeemaker (plus coffee, sugar, and creamer), microwave, fridge, ice-maker, and toaster. We thoroughly enjoyed having morning coffee and evening wine in the rockers just outside our door.
