Mostly easy trail until the last 50 yards or so, then very steep with root and small trees to hold on to. Nice falls close to the Chattooga river
Feb 28, 2026 · Google ReviewNot an easy hike not easy to locate. The first part is figuring out where to go as there are a few trails to take. Second it's more like medium-hard hike as lower 200-300 foot is nearly vertical to get to falls. Got to be sure footed on this one and maybe a little rope or small pick axe to help you get a grip of terrain leading to falls. If you go be careful pack light as I left my bag at top of steep section to make it easier to climb down.
Sep 9, 2022 · Google ReviewLong Creek Falls, located just above Westminster, South Carolina, was a site to see. The falls tumble over a vertical rock face and descend down into the Chattooga River. There is a nice pool at the base of the falls, but you will have to wade across the creek in order to get there. It is an amazing place to visit. Tbe hike is 3.3 miles round trip. Only the last few hundred yards are difficult, the re a t easy to moderate.

Oct 14, 2025 · Google ReviewIt's kind of hard to find, but one of the best fall in the area. Total 3.6 miles of hike (roundtrip) through fairly unmarked trail. To get to the starting point of the trail, you'll need to drive through a gravel road for almost 3 miles.
