Wow, what a great campground! Very well built "tent sheds" made camping so easy! Well maintained bathouse and grounds, we really enjoyed our stay here and will be back. A hidden gem!
Oct 5, 2025 · Google ReviewChatooga Sounds is a great camp site. Greg takes good care of the grounds and you can tell. There’s 3 main group sites - Tooga Yeti and Creekside. Tooga was the closest to the restrooms, the showers, the kitchen area, and it has its own very small parking lot making it perfect for our group. In the tooga site there’s a considerable amount of trash cans to utilize. There was power accessible in the kitchen area that wouldn’t find at the creekside spot. We paid cash on the way out in the fee box. Cell service is lacking for Verizon but does exist for AT&T. If ur going to use kitchen area be sure to bring your own pots and pans / griddle.
Jul 28, 2025 · Google ReviewAwesome spot. I wish I had more time there. Pull in spot. Has everything you need to live off grid. Water and power at my site. Didn't need it but great to have. Could live here.
Oct 25, 2025 · Google ReviewI love this place!!!! Greg is a great dude that cares about his facility and his campers. The bath houses are amazing, like a real bathroom. We have been going here with our whole family in a group site for years. He hosts all kinds of events. Weddings, corporate, personal, etc. He has RV sites, shelter sites, group sites, trails,a rope course. The list goes on. Go see for yourself. Tell them the Creamers said hi!!
Sep 27, 2024 · Google ReviewMy husband and I have camped here several times. We will always choose this campground if we are in the area. The owner is so nice and helpful. The campground, showers and restrooms are always cared for and clean. I love that our tent can have an adirondack shelter. So we don't have to worry about weather. There's also a table built into the shelter to rest your belongings. Location is not far from fun trails, waterfalls, and the river! The only thing I would change is the check in/ reservations for convenience and ease of confirmation. Currently they only take reservations by phone and you don't receive any visual confirmation as proof, but this has never been a real issue. They seem to be very well organized.
