Remember the Fallen Stair Climb
In remembrance of each of the 343 FDNY firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11, we will be hosting a free stair climb challenge. On 9/11/2001, firefighters climbed 110 stories of the World Trade Center, equivalent to roughly 2200 stairs. Participants in the challenge will hike the 1099 stairs twice, equaling roughly 2200 stairs, any time from 7:30am to 11am. A memento will be given to each person who completes the challenge.
