Junior Ranger Wet Zone Creek Critter
Join Park Naturalist Christina, and Zoologist Jen, for a morning of fun, and earn your Junior Ranger Wet Zone Fun Patch at the same time (while supplies last)!
Perfect for families and kids between 9 and 12, or anyone interested in the tiny world below the water's surface. We'll meet at the Lake Dock, where we will learn all about Dip Netting, Macroinvertebrates, and do some citizen science together. Then, we'll head to Taylor's Creek and compare what we find there to the Lake.
We will be walking the creek, so bring a towel and wear clothes/shoes you don't mind getting wet or potentially muddy.
This program is free. But please pre-register by calling or visiting us at the Visitor Center so we can plan accordingly.
