Breathe taking view from Pickens Nose! Made the hike on October 16th 2026 and the colors were beginning to show a little North of where we were. The hike isn't that bad depending on your abilities. Recommend a walking stick or two if you have a bad back as you will come across some stair steps and roots along the way. Hydration isn't necessary, but wouldn't hurt as it is a moderate climb to the top.
