I had a good experience with these nurses who helped me during my induction and labor! They took good care of me. I only had one issue with one of the nurses needing to watch her mouth. and making me as a mother that went through so much after having my son feel terrible.

Was a little slow to get through the paperwork and get attention but shortly after getting nurse focus, many were called in to consult and attend. Felt they did all they could to help assist and provide care. Would go back.

I was visiting Georgia from Florida for a family vacation when I realized I was much sicker than I had been telling myself. I was worried I might be overreacting, but I decided to drive myself to the emergency department. By the time I arrived, I could barely walk from my car to the front desk without stopping because I felt like I was going to collapse. From the moment I checked in, the staff recognized how serious my condition was. After triage, I was taken back almost immediately. I was ultimately needed a blood transfusion and an iron infusion. I cannot say enough good things about my physician, Dr. Ratchford, and my nurse, Kim. My doctor took the time to explain everything multiple times in a way I could understand. He never made me feel rushed, answered every question, and had an exceptional bedside manner that helped calm me during one of the scariest days I've ever experienced. Being told I needed a blood transfusion was frightening, but he reassured me every step of the way and helped me feel confident that I was in good hands. Kim was equally incredible. She checked on me often, anticipated my needs before I even had to ask, and treated me with genuine kindness and compassion. She made me feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout my stay. She did all of the little things that may seem routine, but to a scared patient they meant everything. She made me feel like I truly mattered, and I will never forget her kindness. Every nurse and staff member I encountered was professional, compassionate, and efficient. Even those whose names I don't know deserve recognition because everyone worked together seamlessly. Although my treatment, including the transfusion, took several hours, everything moved efficiently. Once my treatment was complete and I was ready for discharge, there were no unnecessary delays. My discharge paperwork was prepared promptly, and I was able to leave around 3:00 p.m. The difference I felt after receiving treatment was nothing short of remarkable. Before arriving, I could barely walk from my bedroom to the bathroom without becoming weak and nearly fainting. The very next day, I was able to enjoy walking around Helen, Georgia with my family and continue the vacation I thought was ruined. I have been treated in many hospitals over the years in Florida, and this was one of the best healthcare experiences I have ever had. Your team not only treated my medical condition, they treated me with dignity, compassion, and reassurance when I needed it most. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to my Dr. Ratchford, Kim, and every member of the emergency department team who cared for me. Because of your professionalism, skill, and kindness, I was able to recover quickly enough to continue making memories with my family. I will always be grateful for the outstanding care I received.

We will never be able to say thank you enough for the care our family received here! A heartfelt THANK YOU to ALL the people working during the day on Thursday, June 25th. Our 9-year-old son experienced something no parent ever wants to see or experience, he severed his fingertip. We were on vacation and unfamiliar with any emergency services in the area. From the moment we ran into the ER, we were met with staff who were calm, compassionate, and incredibly professional, which immediately put us at ease during a terrifying time. To EVERY single member of the ER team working that day, while we wish we could remember each of your names, but not wanting to leave anyone out, please know how deeply grateful we are. You treated our son with such gentleness, patience, and reassurance, making sure he felt safe every step of the way. What stood out just as much was how you cared for us as parents, explaining everything clearly, offering comfort, and showing genuine empathy when we needed it most. We even had staff from other departments coming to check on us, as they saw us come in through out panicked state. We even came back 48 hours later to have them check it to make sure it looked ok and assist in changing the dressing so we felt comfortable before traveling back home. We are truly, beyond grateful and would absolutely recommend this facility.
