First visit today. Amazing atmosphere, people, and the food. Well, the food is stellar, out of this world! Our first, but definitely not last visit. We will absolutely positively drive the 2 1/2 hours to come back just for this restaurant.

Stopped by on a road trip on a Sunday right after churches let out & were worried it would be a long wait. Service was friendly & reasonably quick given the crowd & the food was delicious. Family members ordered fish & chips & the grouper sandwich & I had a black & blue burger. I rarely order burgers because they usually disappoint me. This was probably a top 10 lifetime burger for me. Amazing fried onion rings on top, chipotle aioli, cooked to order… yum. Even the iced tea was good. Big thumbs up.

Maps suggested Ishy's when we discovered our favorite Mexican restaurant was closed. It was after 1PM, lunch rush was over. Parking was somewhat difficult to find, we thought that might be a good indicator. Seating was fast, space was large and very comfortable. Service was excellent, attentive and friendly. Meals (chicken burrito and dinner salad) arrived in a reasonable time and had excellent presentation. Meals actually included more sides than noted on the menu. All signs pointed to a very pleasant meal ahead. Both meals were totally bland and tasteless. I cannot remember ever having a burrito that tasted like cardboard. It was a total letdown. And to top it off, the burrito was room temp. I cannot remember being so disappointed. Maybe their grill items are better. Maybe it was the wrong time of the day. But we will not be going back there for Mexican food.

My wife and I moved to Clayton, Georgia about 4 years ago. We've eaten at every restaurant within 30 miles a year. When we found Ishy s we fell in love. This is by far the best food at the best. Price in all of Northeast Georgia, the seafood platter, the flay minyon steak. The Mexican food is all excellent. We've eaten here about a 100 times in the last 4 years. And we 'have inever had anything that wasn't absolutely perfect. I never post anything about anything.But this was too good to pass up, you've got to try it

First time ever eating here. It did NOT disappoint! I had the Tempura Fish Tacos with French fries. We also had the Fried Seafood platter, and it was FANTASTIC! 10/10 recommend this place, no one had any complaints at our table!!!
