Just get here! We've been on vacation for ten days and our stop at Hokkie was the best meal we had. If you're traveling you know you're tired of pizza and smash burgers. So if you're traveling through Clayton plan a lunch or dinner stop here. If you live in the area you should be here at least once a week. We were greeted warmly. Jon our server timed our meal perfectly. The staff were very warm and friendly. We wanted to try a little so we had the chicken satay and crab Rangoon for starters. Both were delicious. The satay sauce was especially appreciated by Husband. I had the red curry shrimp and it was fresh and delicious. I opted for the pineapple fried rice for an upgrade and it was worth it. Husband ordered the Hibachi filet mignon with scallops and he loved it. It came with clear soup and salad. The salad was fresh and the ginger dressing delicious. The sauces for these dishes is the Magic. If you're traveling or live here, GET HERE! Just one suggestion have bottled water available as an option.

Wanted to try this place for a while but never got around to it. I am so sad that it took me this long because this place is amazing! I had the lunch special that had two sushi rolls for 15 bucks and a soup. The miso was spot on. So rich and savory. The Philly roll (which was smoked salmon, avocado, and something else) was melt in your mouth perfect. My friend had the sweet and sour chicken and the hot and sour soup. This to was perfect. To round everything out our server was spot on and made sure to keep everything moving like it should. The service and food were top notch. We will Definitely be back.

Great sushi and a really good variety of rolls to choose from. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the Mexican Roll was excellent. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere was clean and relaxed, making it a great place to grab dinner. I’ll definitely be coming back

I had an excellent experience here. I ordered the Bulldog Roll, which was incredibly well-prepared with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The crab rangoon was also impressive—the wontons were perfectly crisp, and the filling was rich and delicious. I also tried the yellowfin tuna sashimi, and it deserves special mention. I’ve had tuna sashimi at many Asian and Japanese restaurants, and this was easily one of the best. The fish was exceptionally fresh, and the cuts were noticeably larger than what most places offer. The value was outstanding as well. My total was $32, and they even provided an additional $5 off with a coupon. The staff was friendly, attentive, and fast. Even though I ordered takeout, the interior of the restaurant was clean, inviting, and had an authentic, modern Asian atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic spot with great food, great service, and great value. Highly recommend.

WOW!!! Dinner, meaningful conversation with the owner and the best green tea ice cream, ever!! We ordered the Yummy yummy roll, Nikko roll, Crunch Cali roll, and the Mexican roll—we left feeling enlightened, full and refreshed!! 12 out of 10!!
