William MorganWe discovered this place completely by accident and were very glad we did! After visiting nearby Foxfire, a staff member recommended heading up to Dillard for a late lunch. They gave us the name of another place, but the directions weren't clear and we ended up here. There was a bit of a line. We were already hungry, so this just stoked our appetites. The counter service was quick and friendly, and there were plenty of seating options despite the crowd. The food arrived fairly quickly and was definitely worth the wait. We joked about the big portions, suggesting we'd all be taking home leftovers. But everything was so good, we all cleaned our plates. All of the meats were top notch. For sides, we can particularly recommend the pimento cheese grits and sweet potato crunch. Also, pick up a bottle of BBQ sauce before you leave. It's been one of our favorite souvenirs from our recent vacation to northeast Georgia!

Love N.C.This is everything I would expect from a barbecue joint and more. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, and nice local people giving us their suggestion on what to order. We had lunch at the restaurant and came back an hour later for food, to go for dinner. Approx. 6 sauces to serve yourself and use for your meal. A self serve pickle, chow chow, jalapeño, and pickled onion area. We ordered reuben sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, pork ribs and the loaded baked potatoe with sour cream, butter, cheese, and green onions...choice of protein..we chose brisket. Everything was a 10. If I have to ask for an improvement...a little more meat on the sandwiches. Cole slaw and side salad with home made dressing was spectacular. Its very casual...and as soon as you pull in the parking lot..you smell those heavenly bbq smells.
