Terry PottingerFrom the moment my husband and I walked into the lobby, Judy, the wonderful receptionist set the stage of our weekend visit with her welcoming persona and giving us the feeling of coming home. As she gave us a glass of delicious champagne we sat down after a long drive and enjoyed her company. Coming into dinner held a few more beautiful gifts disguised as one, our server Regan, with her easy going ways, delicious suggestions of what to have as a meal and oh how she can make a to die for Old Fashion. The GM Kera, would come by and check in on us to made sure we were enjoying ourselves and had a smile that could take over a room in seconds.Brittney was our bartender and even though she has been there only a few weeks, you’d never know it, she fit in perfectly and was a joy to talk with. I had a Reiki session with Linen and it was incredible. I have had many and this one was one of the best! The next morning, breakfast was delicious and our server, Melissa was like talking to sunshine…very positive and accommodating. Our room, perfect. If I could give more than 5 stars this page would be full. We are already making plans to return. Thank you Valhalla for your choice of staff members ~ we travel a lot and it is rare to be around those who love what they do, joke around, enjoy their co-workers and treat everyone as family. Deanna MoteOur company had our Christmas party at Valhalla on Dec 5, 2025. We were catered to in the Sky Bar for a cocktail hour and then dinner in the Highlands Room in the Caledonia Restaurant. The food and drinks were wonderful, but most of all the staff were spectacular. I specifically want to thank Matthew (In the Sky Bar) and Michiela, Alexandria (both Sky Bar and Caledonia), and Anthony for their impeccable service. Michiela helped us plan the event details in advance and was a gracious host. My husband and I stayed at the hotel that night after our event, and the rooms are very nice and spacious with a fireplace and sitting area. I highly recommend the hotel and the restaurant and their event services!

Elizabeth Rice HurtMy husband, 5 year old son and I were staying down the street and wanted to check out Valhalla NY weekend. We went to the Sky Bar to have a drink and an early dinner for my son. Matthew immediately made us feel welcome upon entering. He can make virtually any drink you’d like- my espresso martini was delicious. The cheeseburger and fries we ordered my son was SO good. My husband and I finished what my son didn’t! Matthew provided outstanding service and was so kind to our son. He is fantastic, even when he got busy he made sure to check on us frequently. 5 star service all around. We will be back and perhaps might stay at the hotel next time as well.

Annmarie LangThis was our 2nd stay at the Valhalla Hotel and it was perfect. Daniel with Valet services greets you with a smile, the lovely woman at the desk(I forgot her name) was just as delightful, offering us a glass of champagne, going through what the hotel offers and just making us feel at home. The restaurant has beautiful views, wonderful servers and delicious food. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated and has a nice aroma as you stroll through the premises. When we were checking out Drew went out of his way to assist us. Everyone who we interacted with was GREAT. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Victoria PerezHad the best time. Stayed in a deluxe bungalow, clean, beautiful and a lovely bottle waiting for us. Chef Jack was awesome and went above and beyond for us. Sydney served us at the bar, she was kind and personable. A wonderful time!
