Endame WalceciWe had a veeeery short notice, wedding here at Valhalla Resort Hotel, and this place is absolutely phenomenal! Especially for someone like me who isn't big on planning events! Ms. M. Lewis is the sweetest and helped every step of the way, including the big day itself where she made sure that everything was smooth and easy from start to finish! The staff was very friendly and everything was very well organized, I can't recommend her enough!

Susan LofquistWe were greeted on arrival with a glass of prosecco, which was a nice touch. The lobby area is decorated in a Scottish and Norse style and is comfortable and cute. Room 205 was a bit disappointing. It was painted in gray, with gray floors and gray furniture, which is a dim and cold design choice. The lightbulbs were also of a cool tint which added to the gloom. The walls and floors were thin, poorly insulated, and we could clearly hear people talking and walking upstairs and in the hall. The view from the room was of the roof of the dining room with just a bit of the mountains off to the left. I would consider staying on a higher floor on the left side of the building. Fireplace in the room was not available because it is out of season. (Visit was the end of September). The bed was comfortable. The room service delivery lady was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. Laura in the spa gives a great deep tissue massage! Matthew in the Sky Bar is friendly and knowledgeable of the area, and gives good service. We did not eat in the restaurant, but the food we had in the Sky Bar was from there and was very good. (burger, onion rings, flatbread pizza). We met the hotel owner, Jerry in the Sky Bar who was a very interesting guy!

This staff knows what personal service is and it was wonderful to just sink into the lovely extras like afternoon tea in the lobby, the gorgeous views, and small errands and extras like you truly are an honored guest. We plan to return to try the golf course and spa.

Joanne Bintliff-RitchieWe had wanted to check out Helen and finally were able to. We scheduled our stay over our wedding anniversary. And we are so glad we did! The resort is lovely. Lots of amenties - golf, pickleball, gorgeous pool. The restaurants were fabulous. Hats off to the chef! Both were set up to provide great views. But the best part was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, especially Matt who was a great setver and bartender. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable.
