Susan OutzTimpson Creek Gallery never disappoints! I took a friend to see Cecile’s store and she was very impressed. My friend has several mid-century modern pieces of furniture that are in need of reupholstery. I cannot tell you how many upholstery fabrics Cecile has but let’s just say she has something for every taste and style! To top it off, Cecile is such a fun and interesting person that we had a delightful visit. My friend plans to have Timpson Creek revive her furniture pieces because she knows their excellent work will only add to their value. Thank you Cecile for a wonderful afternoon!

Meghan SimonMy fiancé and I stopped in here on our way back home. This store is so unique and full of warmth. The owner is such a sweet lady and helped us find beautiful glasses. This should be on everyone’s stopping route.

Mike MooneyTimpson Creek is a really cool store. This is not your ordinary antique or crafts shop, rather it features all sorts of one-of-a-kind, handcrafted furniture and jewelry and clothing. If you've never been here before, make a point of stopping in, it's worth it!

sarah gillespieThe moment you pull into the parking area at Timpson Creek Gallery, you get a feeling that you're about to experience something special. When you walk in the door, your senses are stimulated by an eclectic mix of rustic furniture mixed with contemporary art, home wares, bold fabrics, textiles, jewelry and more. When you meet the proprietors, Cecile & Dwayne Thompson, you know right from the start that you're speaking to a couple with a definite style filled with colorful character and charisma. And when they share some of their design experiences with you, you immediately understand why many of the homeowners on Lake Burton and Lake Rabun have relied on Timpson Creek design services and custom furniture making for more than 30 years. I highly recommend Timpson Creek Gallery to anyone interested in filling their home with handcrafted goods that are American made in the highest quality and many times one-of-a-kind.
