Tiger Mountain Vineyards & Red Barn Cafe
Tiger Mountain Vineyards, a boutique North Georgia winery, cultivates all of its grapes and produces all of its handcrafted wines right here in the mountains of Rabun County. The winery, along with its historic Red Barn Cafe, was founded by four native Georgians, the Ezzard's and McMullan's. In 2021, Tiger Mountain Vineyards was purchased by new owner, Lenny Vitello. Lenny Vitello, is a successful technology entrepreneur who has always had a passion for wine, hospitality, and the great outdoors. Tiger Mountain Vineyards encompasses all three and more! New ownership, yes, new vintner, yes, but still great wines (and some new ones!), with the same beautiful vineyards and the same glorious Tiger Mountain! Tiger Mountain Vineyards cultivates seven varieties of red grapes and two white grapes. Carefully selected European grapes thrive in the sunny days and cool nights of the growing season in Northeast Georgia. The oldest vines date to 1995. Vineyard tours are available by appointment. The Vineyards hosts year-round events and celebrations. Tiger Mountain Vineyard is a perfect venue for weddings, anniversary celebrations, showers, and more. Tyler ReedWe were a party of four and had a great time at the winery. The atmosphere was beautiful, the charcuterie board came out pretty quickly, and the wines were decent. Most of the staff was amazing and welcoming, however, when we first arrive the gentleman at the bar did not welcome or acknowledge us, I had to ask if wine tastings were available and he gave a snarky response. He did seem knowledgeable about the wines but could work on the customer service aspect.

The food is wonderful, and the wines are exceptional—especially the Rosé and Petit Manseng, which are my personal favorites. I love the comfortable pavilions, cozy seating areas, and live music that create such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The views are absolutely stunning and make the entire experience even more special. Whether you’re stopping by for a glass of wine, a meal, or an afternoon with friends, this winery offers the perfect combination of great wine, great food, beautiful scenery, and outstanding hospitality.
