Tiger Mountain Vineyards & Red Barn Cafe
Tiger Mountain Vineyards, a boutique North Georgia winery, cultivates all of its grapes and produces all of its handcrafted wines right here in the mountains of Rabun County. The winery, along with its historic Red Barn Cafe, was founded by four native Georgians, the Ezzard's and McMullan's. In 2021, Tiger Mountain Vineyards was purchased by new owner, Lenny Vitello. Lenny Vitello, is a successful technology entrepreneur who has always had a passion for wine, hospitality, and the great outdoors. Tiger Mountain Vineyards encompasses all three and more! New ownership, yes, new vintner, yes, but still great wines (and some new ones!), with the same beautiful vineyards and the same glorious Tiger Mountain! Tiger Mountain Vineyards cultivates seven varieties of red grapes and two white grapes. Carefully selected European grapes thrive in the sunny days and cool nights of the growing season in Northeast Georgia. The oldest vines date to 1995. Vineyard tours are available by appointment. The Vineyards hosts year-round events and celebrations. Tiger Mountain Vineyard is a perfect venue for weddings, anniversary celebrations, showers, and more. Logan BranchI had an unforgettable birthday celebration at Tiger Mountain Vineyard in Tiger, Georgia. The owner Lenny, came around and poured samples of their wine and was very personable with everyone he met. At the end of the night he sang happy birthday to me, which was such a special touch. Our waitress, Laura, provided top-notch service and gave wonderful recommendations. The scenery was breathtaking. We started at the upstairs patio that offered the most breathtaking view and ended the night watching the most stunning sunset at their fire pit. There was a local arts festival being held there that day, along with live music. It’s a place where you go there as guest, but you leave as family.

Stephanie BigelowMy boyfriend and I stopped in on a whim while we were in town, and the place itself is absolutely beautiful. They offer a wide selection of dry wines but don’t produce any sweet wines, so I opted for the scuppernong they bring in—which happens to be one of my favorites, so no complaints there. We ordered a pizza and were warned, “It’s hot, so be careful,” but it arrived completely cold. We laughed it off and let the staff know; they reheated it, but unfortunately it didn’t make much of a difference. We still ate it, though. Thankfully, the gorgeous views helped make up for the experience.

Donnie BrownThe Winery is beautiful. The staff was amazing. The pictures do not show how amazing this place is. We did the VIP tasting and it was worth it. One of the best we have done. Wine selection tastes better than alot of other wines. This would be a perfect location for a wedding or group event.

jordan nolesMy friends and I came from Florida for a birthday trip and the highlight of our weekend was this vineyard. The staff were amazing, the wine was even better, and Lenny the owner treated us better than we imagined. The view was stunning.. We will definitely be returning and will always recommend this vineyard to anyone!

alexander wolfHad some wine on the top deck with the GORGEOUS Mountain View and the sweet wine selection! The blonde lady who was at the front counter was VERY sweet, kind and energetic! LOVED HER ENERGY! WOULD DEF COME BACK HERE AGAIN NEXT TIME IM IN THE HIGHLANDS!
