I visited The Factory with my bf and a friend of ours. I wasn't expecting much, as there are coments saying that the place needs renovating.. I agree that it has potential for new games that are broken or a update on the go-karts, but we had so much fun there! We lived in Highlands for a year and there isn't a lot to do there, but this was a perfect plan for having fun with your friends or family.
Mar 4, 2026 · Google ReviewWe had SO much fun at The Factory with our 1- and 4-year olds during a trip to Franklin, NC. I was so impressed with everything offered under one roof…trampolines, arcade games, mini golf, a carousel, a jungle gym area. I was also so happy to see a soft play area for my baby since most other things were geared to the older kids. The staff was so friendly to both my husband and I, and our kids. Kids had the best time and could have stayed all day. Even more impressive - my daughter won a stuffed animal with her tickets that apparently fell out of the car on our road trip back home. We could not find this thing ANYWHERE online so my husband called to check what brand it was and whether we could buy one from them since they aren’t sold online (how? idk but they arent). Several interactions later, a box shows up at our door with the stuffy and other fun toys and gadgets for the kids. They wouldn’t allow us to pay and even included a hand-written note in the box. WHAT? Who does this kind of thing these days? I am so grateful to the management and staff of the Factory for their kindness and for making my daughter so happy. We can’t wait to go back to Franklin and support this small business. We would absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for something fun to do. Thank you all for being so AWESOME!!
Dec 4, 2025 · Google ReviewI visited The Factory for the first time in probably 10 years, and it was fun to come back with my kids and sister. There’s definitely a lot here for families, and you can tell it’s been a staple in town for a long time. Some things feel very familiar — the arcade games, carousel, indoor bumper cars, and mini golf are mostly the same as I remember from years ago. A few games weren’t working, and overall the space could really benefit from some fresh updates or new interactive attractions to bring new life into it. That said, I tried laser tag for the first time and loved it! The laser tag area may be small, but it was an amazing experience and honestly one of the highlights of our visit. I had so much fun and would definitely do that again. I think this place has so much potential. Adding a few newer-style games, rotating attractions, interactive challenges, themed nights, or even updated lighting and music could make a big difference and help keep things exciting for both kids and adults. Overall, we still had a good time, and I really hope to see The Factory continue to grow and evolve — it’s a great space that just needs a little spark to feel new again.
Jan 1, 2026 · Google ReviewGreat place to let the kids run around when it's cold or wet out. We tried to jump but the kiddos weren't into it that day and they gave us a voucher to come back another time. Bring your own hand sanitizer. Look online at website for discounts before you go.
Dec 3, 2025 · Google ReviewTook granddaughter for a play day. She is almost 5. She had fun, specially JUMPING! but they should get more kid friendly games and less "claw" machines. Littles don't understand the claws are rigged to NOT win and spend money on trying to get the prize and tear up when disappointed. Otherwise, it was clean, we'll staffed, and staff was very welcoming. We will definitely return!
