The Sid’s Falls Trail is approximately a 3-mile round trip, offering a rewarding adventure for those up for a bit of a challenge. The hike begins with a relatively easy walk along a flat forest road for the first mile. However, the terrain quickly shifts into a narrow and steep mountain path that demands more effort and focus. The final stretch is particularly rugged, with a sharp incline that may require the use of your hands for stability. Despite the demanding sections, the journey is well worth it. The view of the falls at the end is absolutely breathtaking—a magnificent reward for the climb. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the natural beauty that unfolded with every step.
May 12, 2025 · Google ReviewVery beautiful place and you can see a second waterfall for an extra tenth of a mile. It gets quite difficult towards the end though. It's borderline mountain climbing.
Jul 23, 2025 · Google ReviewParking is limited in front of the gate, but no one was there when I went. Follow the car trail to the end of a clearing then you will see the trail resume on a small foot path heading into the woods. As you hear the falls, the trail then dives straight down to the bottom so just be careful. Takes about a half hour to reach the falls, maybe 1.25 miles. Great falls and worth every step! Bug spray is recommended.
Jul 11, 2024 · Google ReviewThese are amazing waterfalls to see in person. The trail in the beginning wasn't much of a challenge, make sure you have some repellent on. The trail can be a challenge once you get closer to the falls. The path on right has the better falls is easy to navigate.
Aug 22, 2023 · Google ReviewWow Sid falls is well worth this trip!! The first part of the hike is on an old road. Then it cuts through the woods and then gets very steep. There are ropes along the way to help you. It will probably be very slippery after it rains. When the trail splits, to the right is Sids Falls. To the left is Maxie Duke Falls.
