Mary CarleySautee Mountain Retreat is the perfect place to get away; peaceful, serene and relaxing. I went there last weekend and can't wait to go back. An easy drive from Atlanta, it is an ideal spot to unwind. The whole experience was delightful. Beautiful spot with a huge lake, lovely cabins, and plenty of places to explore!

Ward EvansI have organized a retreat at Sautee for several years, and it's a highlight of the year for my group. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and spacious enough to provide plenty of room for people to spread out. The event center/lodge is large enough to allow my group to have meals and large meetings. It is close to numerous hikes and points of interest that my group can go enjoy. And the owners are very kind and happy to help however they can. I would highly recommend using Sautee for your retreat.

SamThe retreat itself is nestled upon a gentle slope of some rolling hills with beautiful vistas to see and exciting trails to traverse. Also, it's positioned quite nicely between several excellent wineries and other local attractions. Our cabins had an interesting aesthetic of pinewood walls and wood-carved adornments. While the bedding was comfortable and the rooms sizable, sound carried too well between them and so I would recommend staying in one of their single-bed cabins if possible. The staff themselves were friendly and helpful...all in all a great experience. I would highly recommend staying at the Sautee Mountain Retreat and will be doing so again in the near future.
