SamThe retreat itself is nestled upon a gentle slope of some rolling hills with beautiful vistas to see and exciting trails to traverse. Also, it's positioned quite nicely between several excellent wineries and other local attractions. Our cabins had an interesting aesthetic of pinewood walls and wood-carved adornments. While the bedding was comfortable and the rooms sizable, sound carried too well between them and so I would recommend staying in one of their single-bed cabins if possible. The staff themselves were friendly and helpful...all in all a great experience. I would highly recommend staying at the Sautee Mountain Retreat and will be doing so again in the near future.

Skip BlankleyWe stayed at the Getaway Cabin in early September and we could not be more pleased with our experience. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the cabin was perfect, and the location was awesome. Just a short drive to downtown Helen, and there are several amazing hikes within a 25-30 minute drive. It is central to a lot of outdoor awesomeness. The cabin had all of the essentials for cooking and a very comfortable stay. Also, the hot tub made for relaxing evenings after hiking all day. Could not be happier with Sautee Resorts. Thanks again!
