I wanted to share this personal experience my family had in working with Heather (and Justin) Bone. I am not even sure where to start to express our appreciation to Justin and Heather Bone for helping us throughout our recent “adventure” in Clayton, Georgia. We live in Florida, and rented a cabin for the week of my niece’s wedding which was taking place in Toccoa at the beautiful Flat Rock Farm venue. We made our reservations in early March with Justin and Heather. They knew this was a special trip for our family. We were full of questions, and they were always helpful and eager to provide answers. Once we arrived at our cabin on Screamer Mountain, we realized we didn’t have an iron which was a problem for us as we had to “de-wrinkle” our wedding attire. Justin had already mentioned that there should be an iron onsite, but if not, he would have one delivered. I reached out to him, and the next morning he had a new steam iron and new ironing board delivered to our cabin. Nice? YES! But, that’s not what touched us the most. We later realized a couple of other things weren’t onsite and I again reached out to Justin. It was then that he informed me that the cabin had been sold and that he was no longer managing the property. He went on to say that he did have a relationship with the owners and the managing crew and that he would gladly reach out to them. He did just that. He didn’t have to, because at that point we were not his responsibility, but he helped us anyway. What a blessing. Then, the next day as we were all rushing around to get ready for rehearsal, all of a sudden we had NO water! Zero! All I knew to do was call Justin. I hated to bother him, but he immediately suspected (and correctly so) that the water had been turned off by the city because this was the day that the property was officially sold. Justin’s first thought was that we had gotten caught in the process. He encouraged me not to worry as he promised to make some phone calls and get the water turned back on. In just a couple of minutes he called back to say that his assumption was correct and the previous owner had ended his service/utilities at the address and the new owner was in the process of establishing service. He further assured us that the city had promised to have the water restored within 30 minutes to 2 hours. Well, we had water in 15 minutes. THANK YOU, LORD!! Now, my reason for posting this review is this simple…. I do not know Justin or Heather Bone; chances are that we will never even meet. But… for someone to take the time and care to finish what they started with us and to make sure we were taken care of during our stay… THAT’S my kind of folks. I pray blessings on them and theirs. We will always remember their kindness and for simply caring enough and having the integrity and character of heart to “do unto others as you would want someone to do unto you and your family.
