My friend and I visited on the way back from Tennessee this week. I couldn’t stop saying how adorable whimsical everything was! The building and decor were magical with all the fairy lights, mushrooms, and natural wood! I just loved it so much. I want my house to look exactly like that one day! I visited Goats on the Roof about 10 years ago and was so pleased to see what the new owners have done with it! I also met the owner and she was incredibly friendly and clearly proud of her shop (as she should be!!!). She also mentioned that they are in the process of opening a little cafe and a 7 acre fairy forest with goats! I can’t wait to come back and see that! If you are ever passing though, it is so worth it to stop and check it out!
Apr 23, 2026 · Google ReviewThis place is so cute. A great stop for kiddos and adults alike. Feed the goats by going into the gift shop and purchasing food. July 2026 it was only 2$ so pretty cheap. Fun ways to feed them. Cute ferry village photo op and angle wings. The gift shops are well stocked and classy. The bathroom was clean.
Jul 7, 2026 · Google ReviewNeat spot to stop with the kids. This was formerly the old Goats on a Roof place but it has been totally redone and now the goats are in a separate goat “paradise” area. They have everything a goat could desire! Climbing rocks, inclines, toys, sheltered areas, shade, and plenty of friends plus you can feed them! There’s no cost to just stop and walk around. You can pay to buy them food and watch all their funny antics. Inside the store is like a high end Cracker Barrel gift shop. They have something for everyone! I wanted to get some coffee but they didn’t have that - yet. They are opening a cafe in just a few weeks.
