Absolutely beautiful trail along the Coleman River and its beautiful waterfalls. A few spots where we had to crossover a downed tree but it was easy enough to navigate. We hiked up to 0.83 miles in with our two 9 year olds. It got challenging and narrow at about 0.6 miles but still fun. Beware at 0.83 miles there is a huge yellow jacket nest in a a downed tree trunk on the left side right next to a very narrow part of the trail.
Oct 2, 2025 · Google ReviewThis is a beautiful drive, especially with the leaves turning. The road’s narrow, but there are places to pull over along the way to get gorgeous photos. I think more folks are getting wind of it, since we saw more vehicles than a we did last year. Even if it’s a little out of your way, it’s worth the drive. One warning: it’s really easy to miss the turn off Persimmon Road onto Tallulah River Road, so keep your eyes peeled to the left for the turn.
