All of these reviews and like zero pics of the actual campground. This place is huge and nicely laid out with a loop. No grassy areas like some other forest service group sites. Pit toilet and two trash receptacles. Gated access which will certainly keep looky loos away. I took a walk around video but I will post that to YouTube.
Jan 30, 2025 · Google ReviewGreat campground. I have both rented it and been during hunting season while open for free and always have enjoyed myself. Great place for families and friends.
Nov 2, 2019 · Google ReviewNo trout today. But usually a great place to fish. Hopefully they swam upstream and weren't wash away in the flood.
Jan 11, 2024 · Google ReviewFishing above the bridge is limited to the time of year on rather you can keep fish and what you can actually use. Don't be stupid and think you won't get caught because you will this area is watched closely. It is still worth going and if you can go when the time of year allows you to keep fish and use whatever bait you want then by all means have at it. Hiking below this allows for camping and pretty decent fishing as well.
