My husband and I booked this trip as a delayed Valentine's day activity. We wanted nice hiking and motorcycle riding weather. We stayed in the tiny Dogwood and absolutely loved it. The place, while small, had a surprising amount of space for all of our stuff. Each of the 8 tiny cabins are unique so you have to pick based on what you want. We wanted a queen bed and cooking options, the Dogwood offered both. The outdoor area for us had a charcoal grill, fire pit, picnic table, chairs for the fire pit and chairs for our tiny porch, and an extra covered screen enclosed area. We could have set up our portable grill and table/chairs if it had rained. The hostess, Lee is fantastic. She is very responsive to emails and questions. She provided coffee, creamer, sugar, tea, and a basket of snacks. The owners have add on packages such as breakfast, dinner, wine, flowers, etc. We did not use this but it was great to know about if we plan another trip here. The owners have a fantastic restaurant on site which we did eat at on one of our nights. The food was absolutely fabulous. It appears to be a local favorite as it was packed on a Weds nite. They offer outdoor seating and with the weather being perfect we could see why everyone wanted to be at the Bleu Canoe restaurant. I highly recommend the accommodations and the restaurant.

I stayed in a tiny house at Bleu Canoe for a week. It was one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I have ever been. The 3 mile loop trail on the property is beautiful. The restaurant on site is excellent. There’s a general store right around the corner that has supplies. The entire process was contactless. I will be staying here again.

Popped in for a weekend stay. Check in was a breeze and everything was as it should be. The restaurant next door is delicious and there is a small restaurant 1 minute up the road that serves a great country breakfast.
